Before the quarantine caused by the new pandemic coronavirus, many people have discovered new skills. The singer Britney Spears, for example, seems to have discovered to be a sprinter. On Wednesday night (3/25), the pop diva published an image on social media in which she claims to have run 100 meters in 5.97 seconds.
“Usually I run 6 or 7 (seconds). My first attempt was 9 … and now I did it! 100 meters,” he posted on social media.
Some netizens, however, pointed out some mistake in Britney's feat. That's because if she had done 100 meters in 5 seconds, she would have surpassed – and a lot – the world record. Today, the 10.49-second mark among women, hit by the American Florence Griffith-Joyner, in 1988. Among men, the record belongs to the Jamaican Usain Bolt, who made the 9.58 second mark in 2009. Was Britney the fastest person on the planet?
