O Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the state of So Paulo reached R $ 2.38 trillion in 2019, a result 2.5% higher than that recorded in 2018. The services sector increased by 3.3% and the industry, by 1%. Agropecuria fell by 1.3%. The data, released today (26), only from the State Data Analysis System Foundation (Seade), linked to the Government Secretariat of the state of So Paulo.

According to the survey, the Metropolitan Region of So Paulo ended the year with a GDP of R $ 1.28 rail, a growth of 3.5% in relation to 2018. The region recorded a positive result in the services (4.5%) and negative in the sectors of industry (-0.2%) and agropecuria (-5.6%).

In the interior of São Paulo, the highlights in the GDP expansion were the regions of Campinas, with an increase of 2.5%, Sorocaba, with 3.5%, France, with an increase of 3.3% and Itapeva, with 4%.
