Star Trek The first film is among the most disliked from the franchise but has been a great deal better. Generation on the Enterprise’s first significant screen voyage proved to be a rough ride. The greatest paradox is that Kirk and the gang, with now hastened humanity’s development, prove to be the real Titans.
Finally, Planet of the Titans was murdered by an abundance of imaginative hands. Kaufman had realized that the prevalence of a particular Vulcan science officer and assembled an extremely Spock-centric narrative, also throwing Stonehenge and Kirk’s child to the mix. The authors and Kaufman tried optimizing the script. However, the result bore little similarity to the first, and Paramount immediately backed out.
